Nano Brows are a permanent makeup technique that uses a machine and ultra-fine needle to create soft, hair-like strokes throughout the brow.Unlike traditional Microblading, which uses a manual blade to create strokes in the skin, Nano Brows are created entirely with a machine. The goal is never to give you a completely different brow. I want to enhance what you naturally have, fill in areas where you're missing hair, and create a soft, natural result that complements your face.
The biggest difference is how the strokes are created.Microblading uses a manual blade to make small cuts in the skin and deposit pigment. Nano Brows use a tattoo machine and fine needle to create each individual stroke.Nano allows me to have more control over how pigment is placed into the skin and create soft, dimensional strokes that mimic natural brow hair.
Yes! Natural results are actually my specialty.I don't believe permanent makeup needs to look heavy, overly dark, or like a completely different brow was placed on your face.Your brow shape and stroke pattern are designed around your natural hair growth, facial features, and existing brow.My goal is for someone to look at your brows and think, "Her brows look so good," not, "She had her brows tattooed."
This is one of the most common concerns I hear from new clients. Before we begin, your brows are carefully mapped so you can see the shape and make adjustments with me before anything is tattooed.I also prefer a conservative approach at the first appointment. We can always add more density, color, or definition at your touch-up, but I never want to overpower your natural features.Your brows will initially appear darker and more defined immediately after your appointment. As they heal, the color softens and the strokes become much more natural.
Nano Brows can work beautifully on many different skin types, but every client's skin is different.Skin type, texture, pore size, natural brow hair, lifestyle, previous permanent makeup, and other factors can affect how strokes heal and how much detail the skin can hold.During your appointment, I evaluate your skin and natural brows to determine the best approach for you. In some cases, I may recommend Nano Combo or Powder Brows instead of Nano-only for the best healed result.
If you love the look of natural brow hair and want a soft, subtle enhancement, Nano Brows may be perfect for you.Nano Combo combines hair-like Nano strokes with soft shading. I may recommend this if you have very sparse areas, want a little more density, or need additional definition through certain areas of the brow. You don't have to figure this out alone. I can help determine which technique will give you the best result based on your skin, natural brow hair, and desired look.
Nano Brows are considered permanent makeup because pigment is implanted into the skin, but they will gradually fade over time. How quickly they fade varies from person to person and can depend on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products, and how your body retains pigment.A color boost may be recommended over time to keep your brows looking fresh.
Fresh Nano Brows will always look darker, sharper, and more defined than the final healed result. As your brows heal, the strokes soften and the color becomes more natural. This is why I focus so heavily on healed results, not just how brows look immediately after an appointment. The goal is for your healed strokes to blend naturally with your real brow hair.
Permanent makeup naturally changes as it ages, which is why technique matters.Proper needle selection, depth, pressure, pigment placement, skin type, and avoiding overworking the skin all play a role in how strokes heal and age.My goal is to create soft strokes while protecting the integrity of your skin and giving your brows room to age naturally.
Possibly, but previous permanent makeup must be evaluated first. If your existing pigment is too dark, saturated, discolored, or the previous shape doesn't work with the new design, removal or additional fading may be recommended before new work can be done. Please do not book a new Nano Brow appointment over previous permanent makeup without first reaching out for an evaluation.
Your brows will look darker and more defined immediately after your appointment.Over the following days, you may experience light flaking or scabbing as the skin heals. The brows may also appear lighter or uneven at different stages of healing. This is normal.Once the surface of the skin has healed, the pigment will continue settling and the final color will gradually become visible.Full healed results are evaluated approximately 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment.
I use a dry-healing method for my Nano Brow clients. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions at your appointment. During the initial healing period, you'll need to avoid getting the brows excessively wet, sweating heavily, swimming, saunas, direct sun exposure, and picking or scratching the healing skin.Following your aftercare instructions is extremely important for proper healing and pigment retention.
I intentionally take a conservative approach during your first appointment.Every person's skin heals and retains pigment differently. Once your brows are completely healed, we can see exactly how your skin accepted the pigment. At your touch-up, we can reinforce strokes that healed lighter, adjust color if needed, and add additional density or definition.Think of the first session as creating the foundation and the touch-up as perfecting the healed result.
Nano Brows are created with individual machine hair strokes and provide the most hair-like, natural appearance.Nano Combo Brows combine Nano hair strokes with soft shading for additional fullness and definition.Powder/Ombre Brows use shading throughout the brow to create a soft, filled-in appearance. They can range from very soft and natural to more defined depending on your preference.
