What is the aftercare for semi-permanent brow treatments?Semi-Permanent Aftercare Please keep in mind that the healing process is extremely important and necessary. About 70% of the outcome depends on how well you take care of them. The first 10 days are the most important as you currently have open wounds on your eyebrows. Be prepared as your brows will appear very dark in the first few days and will begin to scab over as well. This is completely normal! A liquid bandage will be applied to your brows which will help keep them clean and safe (this is not to be washed off). As your brows scab over, they will also flake off on their own and you will be able to see the strokes that were placed underneath. Keep in mind that not ALL strokes will stick perfectly, this will be taken care of during your touch up. Also, if the color seems lighter or different than we had hoped, this will also be taken care of during your touch up. It takes about 3 weeks for your brows to completely heal. These next few things are the MOST IMPORTANT part of the healing process. NO SUN! (10 minutes in the sun can change the color of your brows!) NO WATER! (Do not get them wet for the first 10 days, cover them while taking cool, quick showers and let the water run off your back!) NO SCRATCHING! (They will be itchy, BE STRONG, it’s worth it!)

Does microblading hurt? No! Before any semi-permanent procedure begins, your brows are treated with a numbing ointment to reduce any discomfort. The level of pain is similar to eyebrow threading. Overall, Microblading is no worse than regular waxing or plucking.
